i write manifestos for work all the time because they have an uncanny ability to galvanize even the most hardened of corporate hearts. but lately i need one for myself: just a raw list of what i want to believe in, bring in, and stand for.
We believe in slow things and loud truths.
In found objects and forgotten gods.
In jungle medicine and dreams so urgent they’re fevers.
In bodies that don’t ask for permission to feel or change.
Politics is a body high.
What touches you matter and what you touch, more.
Our rituals are DIY.
Our art is rebellion.
Our love is non-hierarchal and non-negotiable.
We eat like it matters: plant based, immigrant-rooted, sustainable.
We write poems because the world is too absurd not to.
We honor the erotic as sacred. We party as protest.
We reject: rat race glorification, algorithms, cult of productivity.
Refuse to become content.
Want better things and want them loudly.
